And, The Winner Is...

In this economy, everyone loves free stuff… especially if it is one of this year’s most coveted products.  Manheim Specialty is proud to announce Don Charest as the winner of our latest giveaway!

Charest, medium-duty used truck sales manager for Rush Truck Center in Fontana, Calif., won the Ultra-Link XL1000 ECM Reader, a must-have for medium- and heavy-duty truck dealers.  The ECM Reader is valued at $2,100 and effortlessly reads Engines’ ECM Miles, Engine Fault Codes and most Engine Makes to save truck dealers time and hassle.

Tim Ronan, national heavy truck and equipment manager of Manheim Specialty, presents the Ultra-Link XL1000 ECM Reader to Don Charest at his store in Fontana, Calif. on Sept. 7.

I was delighted to visit Charest at his dealership earlier this week to present the prize to him in person.  He was excited to find out that his team would soon reap the benefits of his new tool.

“I don’t think I’ve ever won anything before, so this came as a big surprise,” said Charest. “We have two departments at our dealership – medium- and heavy-duty – and previously only the heavy-duty department had an ECM Reader. Now, we’ll be able to have one in each department which will help us operate more efficiently.”

Thank you to everyone who registered to win. Manheim Specialty enjoys helping equip its customers with the latest and greatest tools to help them succeed.

Chime in below to let us know what item is on your business “wish list,” and we’ll consider it for our next giveaway!

Tim Ronan is the National Heavy Truck & Equipment Manager for Manheim Specialty. He has 17 years of experience in the truck remarketing industry, including 10 years with Manheim. He also serves on the board of directors for the Used Truck Association.
