Manheim Arizona launches Heavy Truck & Equipment sales with a bang

Manheim recently moved its Heavy Truck & Equipment sale to Manheim Arizona from Manheim Tucson in an effort to help both sales grow and serve more customers. Manheim Arizona General Manager Tom Givens and his team have been working closely with the Manheim Tucson staff during this transition. They held a successful first Heavy Truck & Equipment sale on November 16, selling more than half of the 127 units offered from sellers including Wheels Inc, ARI, FLD and Cox Fleet.
This move will help customers at both Manheim Arizona and
Manheim Tucson. Manheim Arizona will bring on additional staff with Heavy Truck & Equipment knowledge to help build the sale and provide industry-specific knowledge to its customers. Manheim Tucson will now have additional space to continue growing its Specialty sales including Boats, RVs and Motorcycles.
“We had an amazing sale due to the combined effort of Manheim Arizona’s Heavy Equipment Coordinator, Megan Wininger, our Fleet manager, Marjorie Rohde, and Manheim’s National Heavy Truck & Equipment Manager, Amanda Kent,” Givens said. “These three were instrumental in establishing our presence in the Phoenix market for heavy trucks, and the results were very impressive. We are extremely grateful for their commitment to Manheim Arizona and the team effort demonstrated by all.”
A major emphasis for Manheim Arizona will be on expanding the buyer and seller bases. They are working with both traditional Manheim dealer customers as well as non-dealers including trucking, construction, utility and other companies and contractors. The state of Arizona alone features more than 15,000 prospective customers from these industries. Manheim Arizona sales will be available via both Manheim.com and Proxibid.
